I’m a furniture designer and maker based in East Sussex.

I'm inspired by the natural world and midcentury design and take influences from my Mediterranean-Indian heritage. I add playful details to produce simple, contemporary furniture using traditional cabinet-making techniques.

Values

Located in East Sussex, moments from the sea, the Makermark workshop opened in 2020.

Nature and the environment are important to me and I’m on a journey to become as sustainable as possible. Making every piece by hand using traditional joinery I build items of value to last a lifetime. I use prime grade FSC wood sourced from local suppliers and whenever possible use reclaimed wood.

I minimise my waste by making smaller creations from off-cuts, composting wood chip and turning scrap timber into charcoal for beach bbq’s!
